Kick-Off Meeting

Songs for Rights 2026 Kick-Off Meeting

Die Songs for Rights 2026 Kick-Off Meeting officially launched the new operating grant year by bringing together representatives from the network’s 26 member organisations across 13 countries. Most partner organisations participated in the online meeting, creating a shared space to reconnect, align expectations, and collectively prepare for the year ahead. The meeting introduced the overall vision of the 2026 Work Plan and strengthened coordination across the network, ensuring a common understanding of priorities, responsibilities, and expected results.

Participants explored the 21 planned activities under the three pillars of the project — Connect, Engage and Empower— including youth participation, advocacy, non-formal education, music-based learning, digital engagement, mental health and wellbeing, climate resilience, inclusion and democratic participation. The meeting also reviewed key objectives, milestones and timelines, clarified the role of member organisations in implementation and dissemination, and introduced the monitoring and quality assurance approach through the “Mission on Track” evaluation system to support effective delivery throughout the year.
